KU Powwow & Indigenous Cultures Festival

Since the spring of 2013, the First Nations Student Association at the University of Kansas and I have collaborated on the artwork for their annual powwow. In 2017 the club was offered the opportunity to run their event at the Lied Center of Kansas, the main performing arts venue on campus. Since this time, the event has been renamed the KU Powwow & Indigenous Cultures Festival, which features not only dancing, but hands-on activities, cultural arts, foods, lectures, and performances.
