Truman & Pioneer Ridge Rebrand

The Independence, Missouri School District was in need of a refresh for their Truman High School and Pioneer Ridge Middle School branding. I tackled the illustration component, while fellow designer Adam Elwell, of ACE Design, worked on the type. Together we created a system that felt similar to the former brand, but with more sophistication and originality. Although different, the logos pair well together by using the same colors, illustration style, and typefaces. We were excited to see that, after just a few months, our rebrand was being utilized on the schools’ signage, uniforms, and social media.
